This fall, the students of Scholars Academy are lacing up their shoes for something bigger than a walk around the block. We're partnering with Hope 4 Kids International to raise the funds needed to drill a deep-water borehole (well) in a rural village in Uganda. It's a project that will change daily life for an entire community as well as a school, starting with something we often take for granted: clean, safe water.

Right now, families in this community walk miles each day just to collect water that isn't even safe to drink. Kids miss school to help carry it. Illness spreads through water that should be a source of life, not risk. A single well changes that. It means more time in the classroom, healthier families, and one less obstacle standing between a community and its future.

That's a mission close to our hearts. Scholars Academy enhances the community through quality education and community events, and we've built partnerships with organizations around our school to keep that bond strong. This walk is a chance to carry that same care a little further, all the way to a village in Uganda that needs it.

Every step you take for our Sentinels' Walk 4 Water helps bring something essential and life-changing, clean water, to people you'll likely never meet. Changing their lives is something to be proud of.
